Pet Travel Bowls
Pet travel bowls make feeding and providing water to your pet easier than having to carry along your pet's bowls you use at home. Portable pet bowls come in a variety of styles, but all of them are designed to be convenient while traveling with your pet. Some dog travel bowls, such as the Gulpy Pet Water Dispenser and the Porta Le Bistro, are fun to take along while hiking or at the dog park. A bottle folds out and fills a trough from which your pet can drink. Other pet travel bowls are soft-sided and can hold food and water. Next time you plan to travel with your pet, consider taking along any of these portable pet bowls. Dog travel bowls make great gift ideas!

Ask the Vet
Q. My dear black lab, Louie (14 yrs old), can no longer walk well, hasn't been able to climb nor desend stairs for a couple yrs, falls frequently, eats very little, and incontinent now. At what point am I prolonging his misery and not his life? He has been such a great companion, loves to travel, and has brought our family such gratitude and happiness. We don't want him to suffer but are so sad for his condition. He looks at US like he is worried for US. We tell him it's ok to go - but we are wondering if it's more humane to 'put him down'. -- Mary C., Roanoke, VA
